Growing up, I always seemed to be the one friend people would want to vent to, unload frustration, or ask for general guidance. People wanted nothing more than to be genuinely heard, validated, and understood. With my innate attributes of warmth, kindness, and compassion, I was able to offer a safe space that facilitated this effortlessly. While many people may find it burdensome, it invigorated me. Seeing that I was able to help promote positive change in someone’s life. That’s when I knew that getting to the root of people’s problems to help them live optimal lives was a deep-rooted passion I wanted to turn into a career.
My experience as a counsellor has shown me a common thread among many clients: burnout, overwhelm, and frustration. Chronic stress has become a pervasive problem, dictating lives and causing untold suffering. It’s a serious issue that needs to be addressed. But there is hope. I’m here to help, and I’ve dedicated my life to mitigating the adverse effects of stress by offering the following;
